The problem of alcoholism among young people today is more relevant than ever. In Buryatia there are 120 thousand young citizens from 14 to 35 years old, 6 thousand are studying in higher and secondary educational institutions. Therefore, the Union of Student Self-Governments is seriously dealing with the problem.

Established a year ago, the organization has successfully held many events, including international ones. The video project "Sober City" starts in republican universities and colleges in December. Within the framework of the project, video films will be shown in educational institutions. The first stage will be devoted to the prevention of alcoholism, the second - campaigning against smoking, which is especially common among students.
